Q. What is your favorite movie and why? A. It is really difficult for me to choose a favorite movie because I really love movies. I used to work at a video store, so I got to see a large variety of movies. However, I am going to say that my all-time favorite movie (even though it IS a children's movie) is Beauty and the Beast. I really love this movie because I felt that I could identify with Belle, who always had her nose in a book. And I love to read!! But, I do love to watch comedies, action-adventure films, horror, and drama...pretty much everything and anything that is interesting. Q. What is a funny story you remeber as a child? A. As a child, many funny things happened to me. One of the funniest was when my family and I were in Mexico visiting our family. There was a huge party at the Plaza one night and my little sister and I were helping my grandmother sell cucumbers with lime and salt. Of course, my sister and I were eager to help and so we started selling them. When about thirty minutes went by, we had made rounds and sold some, but got bored because no one else wanted some. So we just sat there, with about ten bags of cucumber slices. We started to get hungry, so we had the brilliant idea of taking one slice from each bag and eating it, thinking nobody would notice. Well, we got a little carried away and soon, a few bags were gone. Of course, when my grandmother called us over to check up on the goods, we just looked at her with a guilty face and everybody there just laughed at us. They thought that we would take a bite of a cucumber and then put it back, but we didn't! Let's just say we now had a reputation for a while and we were never allowed to sell anything again. A recent funny story that happened to me was very hilarious. I was walking from Priscilla's car over to our apartment after getting home from studying. It had just snowed and there was still some underlying ice because it had snowed the day before. I wasn't wearing snow boots, and started to slip. I was able to catch myself and keep going. However, I think I was meant to fall because two seconds later, I was on my back in a puddle! It all happened in slow motion! All Priscilla could do was laugh because I tried to get up pretty fast. To make matters worse, there were witnesses other than Priscilla, making this a public humiliation, but I still think it was very hilarious! =] |
