Our April Sister of the Month has been awarded to our dearest sister Ms. Lisette Martinez. Lisette has been a major force as an active member of our Distinguished Delta Chapter while at WSU. Her dedication and her personal sacrifice for the organization have inspired us and challenged us in many ways. Although we must say our good byes as she moves forward, we know her legacy will continue with us as we implement many of her teachings as we shape new generations here at WSU. We will miss you!!!

Q. 1. What are your plans after graduation?
A. Moving back to the west side and getting an awesome job. Being a part of the Alumni Association and maybe even be an Alumnae Advisor…that would be fun.

Q. What's the best and worst memory you recall while attending WSU?
A. Best memory was receiving my first A ever since kindergarten. Worst memory was having to withdrawal from an entire semester…Just thankful I had a lot of help to get me back on my feet.

Q. What is your favorite part about being a part of Gamma Alpha Omega?
A. Being a part of something that has done nothing but given me strength, leadership, love, companionship, competition, pride, friendships, honor, loyalty, and dedication for life.

Q. Where can you see yourself in ten years?
A. Hopefully I’ll win the lottery and buy myself and my boyfriend and our families a huge house…okay well realistically I do hope to have a great steady career in something I love, have already traveled around the world, and maybe think about settling down with the boyfriend…who knows…lol.

Q. What kind of an impact will you have wanted to have made when you leave WSU?
A. What I was hoping for while I was here and a part of Gamma was to create a better relationship between all Greek groups in and out of the centers. I wanted to build a friendship with everyone in each organization and hope that that relationship would carry on when I had left.

Q. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
A. Finishing my classes and moving to Seattle…YAYYYA!!!

Q. What’s your favorite type of candy and why?
A. SweetTarts…they don’t hurt my teeth…hahaha

Q. What is your favorite or most memorable/life changing/funny Gamma memory, thus far? (pick one and roll with it =])
A. I have wayyy too many to even mention. Some other’s might not want me to mention but I think the funniest moment was when we were having a study session at my place and someone (you know who you are) decided to consecrate, very loudly I might add, my bathroom. Good time!!!

Q. What are you going to miss the most about being in the Activehouse after graduating?
A. Running things…hahahaha

Q. If you could do your university education all over again, what would you have done differently?
A. Well in all honesty I don’t think I would have done a thing differently because it has made me a better person. Buutttttt…I might have studied a little more.

Q.If you were to be stranded in the middle of nowhere for instance an Island out in the coast, and could only take two people to help you find your way back, who would you choose and how would those two individuals help you?
A. MacGyver, to build me a boat and my boyfriend Moya to share this most random moment with since that’s really all we ever do. Lol

Q. What do you think has been one of the greatest accomplishments you have accomplished over the years?
A. Coming back to school, keeping Gamma alive, finding a great guy, and graduating. And I couldn’t have done any of this without all of your help ladies. I love my Gamma family!!!
